What would happen if the church left the building? The people who make up the church will truly be the church when we go out into the world to love and serve our neighbors. On Sunday, October 26, instead of staying within our walls we will go out to love God and love our neighbors by serving. There a a number of projects available and we encourage church members and friends to sign up in advance for projects. For those who prefer to stay at the church property there will be mission projects to participate in at our building as well. Visitors are welcome to come and participate.
This day is for all ages, because the church of Jesus Christ includes people of all ages.
Projects include: community clean-up, painting playground equipment, singing and nursing homes, assembling health kits, assembling breakfast bags for the homeless, visiting homeless people, , making greeting cards, helping at a food pantry, and more.
We hope you will join us for worship this Sunday as we invite the Spirit of God to touch and challenge us. Come to the Celebration Service with the praise band or the Traditional Service with the choir and organ.
Wherever you are from, whether your family is one or a dozen, whether you are age 1 or 100, you are a child of God to us. We are a congregation that desires to welcome all kinds of people, values highly the worship of God, loves music, and is mission minded.
